The Reality of Owning Guinea Pigs!
Animals are living organisms that belong to the kingdom Animalia. They are characterized by being multicellular, eukaryotic, and heterotrophic, meaning they obtain their nutrients by consuming other organisms. Animals are incredibly diverse, with over 1.5 million known species, ranging from tiny microscopic organisms to large mammals.
Animals play vital roles in various ecosystems, such as pollinating plants, maintaining food chains, and regulating populations of other organisms. Some animals are also kept as pets or used for various purposes such as food, clothing, and transportation.
Animals can be classified into various groups based on their characteristics, such as invertebrates (animals without a backbone) and vertebrates (animals with a backbone). Vertebrates include fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals, including humans.
